Assignment Manager Description
When associates are ready for the next level of responsibility, they become Assignment managers. Assignment managers own the client problem. They are the hub and center of the full assignment team. They are responsible for determining how to bring the best of Haselfre to the client. By working closely with clients, they maximize the impact of our work and lead the client through the change process. They also follow up our work on an ongoing basis to ensure sustained impact. More experienced engagement managers act as thought leaders in an industry section and/or a function and are sought out by colleagues and clients for this expertise.

The Haselfrë Assignment Manager role is offered in India and Hungary. |
Candidate Qualifications
Ideal candidates for the Assistant Manager position: |
- Are about to complete, or have just completed, a masters degree or 1 to 3 years of work experience after completing your masters degree
- Have a clear interest in a broad range of business, strategy and finance topics
- Have demonstrated an understanding of statistics, applied mathematics, and/or finance
- Have a strong commitment to excellence and personal and professional growth
- Have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and an aptitude for analytics
- Have a strong record of leadership in a work setting and/or extracurricular activities
- Enjoy working in teams
- Find problem solving exhilarating
- Are resourceful, responsible, patient, tenacious, informed, independent, confident, and full of energy

Career Path
The assignment manager role is your entry into what we hope will be a rewarding, challenging, and highly flexible career at Haselfrë. After approximately two years, we encourage you to spend your third year pursuing an experience that will truly broaden your leadership and problem solving capabilities. Many assignment managers choose to work in international offices (e.g., India, Europe), join functional practices (e.g., corporate finance, marketing, and operations), pursue nonprofit externships or take on client rotations. After this experience, assignment managers either stay with the firm to advance to Associate Principal role.
